The N-EUPEX coupling from Siemens (formerly Flender) is a two-part star coupling. It consists of two flanges connected by a Sprague element made of elastomer. This construction allows for effective torque transmission while simultaneously damping torsional vibrations and shocks. The coupling is designed for temperature-resistant applications and offers high radial displacement capability. It serves to compensate for shaft misalignments and reduce noise transmission.
