The Beckhoff EL3052 is an analog input terminal of type 5.31 for real-time data acquisition in bus systems. The terminal captures analog sensor signals in the range of 4 to 20 mA with a resolution of 16 bits. It is designed for the EtherCAT fieldbus and is directly integrated into the EtherCAT chain. The four-wire connection (4WR) with galvanic isolation allows for the use of various current sensors. The EL3052 is ideal for monitoring tasks and the precise acquisition of process values in machines and systems.
