Henkel Loctite 242 is an anaerobic thread locking adhesive with medium strength. It cures in the absence of air between metallic surfaces, thus preventing self-loosening due to vibrations. The handling strength is quickly achieved without making disassembly difficult with normal tools. This product is based on acetyl rubber and comes in a convenient 50ml tube. It is suitable for all threaded connections with thread sizes M3 to M12 and offers good resistance to temperatures up to 150°C.
