The LINDY USB 1.1 Cat.5 Extender 42805 extends the range of USB 1.1 devices up to 50 meters. This device uses a single Cat.5 (or higher) network cable connection to transmit the USB signal over greater distances. The unit consists of a local and a remote module. The local module is connected to the USB host, and the remote module is connected to the USB peripheral device. The connection between the modules is made via a standard Cat.5 Ethernet cable.
